Before you start
Do my customers need the app?
No. They bring the code on a printed coupon or on their phone, and you scan it with yours.
Can a code be redeemed twice?
A code for each customer works once, even when two tills scan it at the same moment. One code for everyone works until the coupon's limit, if you set one.
What can a coupon's rules be?
A percentage or an amount off, a maximum discount, a minimum purchase, a product the purchase must include, a number of redemptions, and the days it runs.
How do I scan codes?
With the camera in the phone app, with a handheld barcode scanner that types into the web app, or by typing the code.
What if a redemption was a mistake?
Undo it: the discount comes off the coupon's totals, and a code for one customer can be used again.
Can I take my codes elsewhere?
Yes. Each code downloads as a QR code or barcode image, and a coupon's codes for each customer download as a CSV file.
Can Coupam design what I hand out?
Yes. Describe a card, a flyer, a poster or a post for social media, and the assistant designs it with the coupon's own terms and code, then reads the code back from the design to check that it scans. When each customer has a code of their own, each code prints on its own card, many to a sheet.
Is what I put in used to train AI?
No. The AI runs on Cloudflare's servers under our own account; nothing you put in is sent to another AI company or used to train a model.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Deleting your account in Settings erases everything in it at once; backup copies are deleted within 30 days.
